SpeechMirror comes in two editions: the subscription edition and the USB-key edition. The program, the training content and the installation are the same; only the way it is authorized when it starts differs.

Before you install (both editions)

• SpeechMirror runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs.
• Training content (about 2.2 GB) is downloaded during installation. You need about 6 GB of free disk space.
• On a shared PC used by several teachers, choose the ‘모든 사용자용’ (all users) option during installation. The installer is in Korean for now.
• The program's interface follows the Windows display language (Korean, English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese or Spanish), and you can change it under Display language in the program's Settings.
• When a new version is out, the program tells you when it starts.

First run: subscription edition

Sign in with a SpeechMirror account to start the 30-day free trial or connect your subscription to the PC. The trial needs no payment method, and nothing is charged when it ends. You can see the PC connected to your subscription on My account. For prices and terms, see Pricing.

First run: USB-key edition

Run the program with the USB key plugged into the PC. No sign-in or subscription connection is needed.

If you used the earlier USB-key edition

• The new USB-key edition installs separately next to the earlier one, without removing it.
• The first time you run the new USB-key edition, it asks whether to import the earlier edition's training records. The earlier records are not changed.
• After importing, you can uninstall the earlier edition from the Windows list of apps.
• Don't run the earlier edition and the new program at the same time.
• The same applies if you move to the subscription edition: it installs next to the earlier USB-key edition and can import its records on the first run.
